The first released version of PowerToys can be downloaded from the link below. For now, there are two utility tools available, but Microsoft has ten more in the pipeline. That will allow anyone to build productivity tools for Windows, helping users streamline their workflow. Microsoft made the announcement back in May saying the code for the entire suite will be released for the open-source community. Windows XP marked their demise, but they have come back from the dead. For example, tweaking the Windows UI, changing resolution, and so on. Well, PowerToys was a testing ground for developers to experiment and work on new utility tools. Microsoft introduced PowerToys with Windows 95 but discontinued it eventually.
